Your lot size, also known as the minimum order quantity, represents the minimum number of units of a product you will sell. Traders will need to buy multiples of the lot you set.

Here's an example: Suppose you sell handmade candles. You have decided to set a suggested retail price of €10 per unit and a wholesale price of €5 per unit. You have chosen to form batches of six units. This means that you will sell a crate containing six candles for €30, which will then be sold individually. If a trader wishes to buy more than one crate, he will have to do so in multiples of six: 12, 18, etc.

Tip: Whenever possible, it is recommended to opt for lot sizes of less than 10 units in order to make your range accessible to distributors of all sizes.
